Kip’s passion for quality textiles began with the bequest of an heirloom damask table cloth from a close friend. The meaning of this gift became woven into continued celebrations with family and friends where it adorned the dining table and prompted stories of its origin and the friends from whom it came. 

For over 20 years, Kip has explored the beauty and meaning bestowed by handmade textiles and the value that a slow, human-scale design and production process brings to custom sweaters, scarves, table linens, and clerical vestments. Over the years, he has found that there is just something in handmade textile that will never be matched by mass produced products.
